Yes. All COVID-19 tests at Adirondack Health require a testing order, which patients can obtain from their primary care provider. Patients can bring testing orders with them, or they can have their provider's office fax them to Adirondack Health in advance.

COVID tests are performed inside Adirondack Medical Center in our outpatient laboratory. Patients will check in at one of the registration booths in the main lobby. Staff will direct them to the lab.

Adirondack Health will bill patients' health insurance plans. Patients will be responsible for any cost not covered by insurance, as well as any associated co-pays and/or deductibles, which are determined by health insurance companies and plans.
