Adirondack Health's Patient and Family Advisory Council seeks to create a patient- and family-centered environment that promotes the best possible medical and emotional outcomes for patients and family members by giving a voice to patients and community members.
The PFAC is comprised of patients, family members, a patient advocate and Adirondack Health staff. They typically meet once a month for two hours to offer suggestions or hear from Adirondack Health leadership on specific topics of interest.
Mission:
The Patient/Family Advisory Council for Adirondack Health ensures that patients have a voice in their own healthcare journey. We accomplish this by strengthening communication to create a partnership with patients, families and the healthcare team. We deliver the highest standard of safe, comprehensive and compassionate healthcare.
Vision:
A safe, compassionate, innovative health care community that engages, listens, learns, and works collaboratively with patients and their families.
PFAC members would like to hear from you, whether it is about a concern, question or a note about your stay or visit with us at Adirondack Health. Your comments help us to better serve the community.
