Toy donations encouraged to support North Elba Christmas Fund
SARANAC LAKE –Burn off some of those holiday calories and help put a smile on a local child’s face by participating in the Annual Adirondack Health 2.5 Mile Jingle Bell Run/Walk.
Adirondack Health’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk, held in conjunction with Lake Placid’s Holiday Village Stroll, starts at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Public Beach on Mirror Lake in Lake Placid. Gather the entire family for this fun event that offers a flat, family-friendly course around Mirror Lake. Remember to show your spirit by donning a festive holiday hat!
Participants can register for the Jingle Bell Run/Walk by clicking here for $15 by Dec. 10; the first 100 to register receive event t-shirts. Race day registration is from 7 to 8 a.m. inside the Public Beach House, with an entry fee of $20. Registration fees benefit the North Elba Christmas Fund and Adirondack Health’s Fit for Life Program.
All participants are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the North Elba Christmas Fund to benefit local children. Anyone not participating in the Run/Walk who wishes to donate a toy is welcome to drop off a donation on the day of the event.
