Art exhibit at Adirondack Medical Center features local artists
SARANAC LAKE - The vibrant and inspiring work of the Adirondack Artists' Guild is once again being featured in the halls of Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
AMC, a member of Adirondack Health, features art exhibits, art work and photography throughout the facility on a year-round basis. All of Adirondack Health's facilities support a close collaboration between the arts and healing, which provide a welcome diversion for patients, visitors and staff.
The current exhibit from the Adirondack Artists' Guild features the work of Meg Bernstein, painter; Jacqueline Altman, watercolor painter; and Diane Leifheit, pastel painter. The Adirondack Artists' Guild promotes development of the arts in the community year-round by featuring the work of guest artists and sponsoring cultural events. The Guild has been the primary source of artwork since this collaborative project at AMC first began in 2010.
Patients and visitors can view the current exhibit, which is located in the Medical Imaging Hallway at AMC where services such as mammography, CT scans and diagnostic radiology (x-ray) are provided.
