Adirondack Health surpasses United Way campaign goal
SARANAC LAKE – Adirondack Health employees opened their hearts and wallets to generously support this year’s United Way campaign.
Over the course of a few short weeks, Adirondack Health employees donated a total of $10,500 to the United Way campaign. Led by employees Gail Woodruff and Brian Waters, this year’s campaign exceeded the amount collected in 2012 by $2,000.
“Adirondack Health has concluded another successful United Way campaign, and we would like to express our sincere thanks to employees and local businesses for their generous support of our fund-raising program,” Woodruff and Waters said in a joint statement.
Several local businesses donated products and services to Adirondack Health in support of the employee campaign.
This year’s goal for the United Way of the Adirondack Region, Inc. is to raise $725,000. The campaign is on track to achieve its goal with the help of local employers, large and small. The United Way of the Adirondack Region, Inc. and its 40 partner agencies serve 80,000 people in Clinton, Essex and Franklin counties. By giving to the United Way, 100 percent of the donations remain local to support the agencies that help and serve our friends, neighbors and families.
