Adirondack Health promotes ER director to Chief Medical Officer
SARANAC LAKE - Adirondack Health has appointed Dr. John Broderick to the executive leadership position of Chief Medical Officer.
Dr. Broderick has served as the Medical Director of Adirondack Health's Emergency Department since 2004 where he has set a high standard by building a culture of quality and compassionate patient care.

As Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Dr. Broderick serves as the primary liaison between members of the Medical Staff and the administration of Adirondack Health. In addition, the CMO is responsible for coordinating the care and safety of patients, and provides oversight for physicians and practitioners in a variety of medical and surgical specialties throughout Adirondack Health.
Dr. Broderick earned his medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook, and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation and Metro Health Medical Center. He is board certified in Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Broderick is married with two sons, and enjoys mountain biking, fishing, hiking and skiing.
