Matt Scollin named Director of Communications
Adirondack Health has announced the selection of Matt Scollin as their new Director of Communications. Scollin recently assumed responsibility for Adirondack Health’s internal and external communications, marketing, community relations and government affairs.
A Saranac Lake native, Scollin comes to Adirondack Health from the Glens Falls office of Congresswoman Elise Stefanik, where he worked for two years as a regional director. Prior to that, he spent two years working in a similar role for Rep. Stefanik’s predecessor, former Congressman Bill Owens.
Scollin holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of New Hampshire and has more than 12 years of experience in the hospitality, tourism and food & beverage industries.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the Adirondack Health team, and look forward to highlighting the central role this organization plays in our community,” said Scollin. “Having been born at Adirondack Medical Center and grown up in a family of nurses, I am deeply familiar with the quality and caliber of our healthcare professionals here in the Tri-Lakes region.”
In his free time, Scollin hopes to spend as much time as possible outdoors with his young family and their very vocal Pomeranian, Roger.
