Adirondack Health expands services at Saranac Lake Health Center
SARANAC LAKE – Adirondack Health has expanded the primary care services offered at its Saranac Lake Health Center with the addition of Dr. Kristen Frank-Dixon.
Dr. Frank joined Adirondack Health's Medical Staff in 2014, and previously cared for patients at the Tupper Lake Health Center. Family Nurse Practitioner Becky Boon and Physician Assistant Jacqueline Snyder recently joined the care team at the Tupper Lake Health Center, which includes Drs. Darci Beiras, Mario Tagliagambe, George Cook and Physician Assistant Dona Kilgore.
Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Frank treats patients of all ages and has a special interest in women’s health services and transgender care. The main focus of her practice is primary care family medicine for children and adults, offering treatment for mental health, diabetes, hypertension and preventive health maintenance.
Dr. Frank also guides women through the many family planning options, and helps her patients evaluate and identify a solution that best fits their needs and lifestyles.
“Increasing access to family planning is important for our community,” said Dr. Frank. “This provides an additional option locally for patients right here at the Saranac Lake Health Center.”
She joins board certified pediatrician Dr. Darci Beiras and certified Family Nurse Practitioner Mary Levitz at the Saranac Lake Health Center, located on Old Lake Colby Road behind Adirondack Medical Center.
