Adirondack Health has just released another episode of its podcast series “Emergency Health Topics.”
In this episode, which was recorded on July 18, Jessica Shumway, a physician assistant who works in our Heart Center and on our hospitalist team, joins Dr. John “Chip” Esper to discuss the important role physician assistants – also known as physician associates – play in patient care at Adirondack Health. She also explains the educational requirements to become a PA and explores the variety of career paths PAs can take.
